Background Story:
Long ago, Moss-Maw was once a guardian spirit of an ancient forest, tasked with maintaining the balance between life and death. When humans began destroying the forest, his physical form was corrupted, turning him into a monstrous, decaying being. He retreated into the deepest parts of the world, hiding in forgotten ruins, swamps, and underground caves. Over time, he became a myth and legend, feared by those who dared venture into the wild. Though he harbors resentment toward humanity, he does not seek revenge, believing that time will reclaim all things naturally. He only intervenes when he sees true destruction or unnatural evil threatening the world.
